The German club now value the player at around $64million (€60m/£51m) following his strong performances, with an offer from Spurs expected in the coming weeks. Liverpool is pushing to sign Sporting Club de Portugal defender Gonçalo Inácio in the summer transfer window, according to O Jogo. The Reds are reportedly ready to pip other interested parties, including Arsenal and Chelsea, to securing the Portuguese talent this summer.

As well as the 22-year-old centre-back, Liverpool is also interested in completing a double Sporting CP transfer swoop by acquiring teammate Ousmane Diomande. Scouts from top clubs across Europe have been sent to watch the 20-year-old, who can play in defense or in midfield.
