Arsenal XI vs Crystal Palace: Predicted lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Mikel Arteta faces some crucial selection calls ahead of PSG semi-final in the Champions League, including over Bukayo Saka

Decisions: Declan Rice is expected to start as Arsenal face Crystal Palace ahead of PSG tie

Bukayo Saka is available for selection as Arsenal host Crystal Palace in the Premier League tonight.

The England winger was forced off before the hour mark on Sunday during the Gunners’ 4-0 win at Portman Road after Ipswich defender Leif Davis, who was sent off, caught the back of his ankle with a tackle from behind.

Saka was seen with ice on his Achilles after coming off, but Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has now confirmed that he is fit.

“We have to wait and see now how he reacts after the session, but it is nothing too serious,” said Arteta on Tuesday. “If we want to, I think he will have a good chance to play tomorrow.”

Arsenal will be without Jorginho and Riccardo Calafiori, however, as both players are still injured. Jorginho has a rib issue and Calafiori is struggling with a knee problem.

“Ricky is out and Jorgi unfortunately as well,” said Arteta. “And I think Jorgi will be out for a few weeks.”

Crystal Palace at home is Arsenal’s final game before they host Paris Saint-Germain next Tuesday in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final. Arteta is expected to make changes to his team as a result, and he made three on Sunday for the trip to Ipswich.

Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko were two of those changes, with the pair coming in to play at full-back. Arteta may look to reverse that this time out, and give Jurrien Timber and Myles Lewis-Skelly minutes ahead of PSG.

Leandro Trossard could be handed another start after scoring twice at Ipswich, but Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all long-term absentees.

Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Nwaneri, Merino, Trossard
