Gunners eye eighth straight win to reach the quarter-finals

The stage is set at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal welcome Brighton in the Carabao Cup Round of 16 tonight.

Mikel Arteta’s side, in red-hot form, are targeting their eighth consecutive victory after a weekend win that extended their Premier League lead to four points. The Gunners have been dominant this season — unbeaten in Europe and conceding just three goals in 13 games, only one from open play. After comfortably dispatching Port Vale in the previous round, Arsenal now aim to continue their fine run.
