A huge Champions League semi-final first leg at the Emirates
Arsenal vs PSG in the Champions League semi-finals
Arsenal vs PSG LIVE!
A huge Champions League semi-final kicks off tonight as the Gunners welcome Paris Saint-Germain to the Emirates Stadium. It is the second time these two teams have met in the competition this season, after Arsenal ran out comfortable winners at the same ground back in October, but this clash - and next week’s second leg - are set to be far different encounters.
The Gunners at the weekend watched on as Liverpool ended their Premier League title hopes for another season, confirming once and for all that all their eggs are in this Champions League basket, while PSG are on course for a stunning quadruple having already wrapped up the league and one cup and then with a possible fifth in the Club World Cup on the horizon.
Arsenal, though, will be brimming with confidence after dispatching Real Madrid in style in the last round, but now face the victors of Liverpool and Aston Villa in front what is expected to be a raucous Emirates crowd. Follow the game LIVE below with our dedicated match blog, featuring expert insight and analysis from Simon Collings and Dan Kilpatrick at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsene Wenger has had his say
Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal’s defensive strength could prove the key tonight.
The likes of Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will provide a major test for the Arsenal defence, but Wenger has suggested that his former club’s solidity at the back could be enough to book their place in the final in Munich next month.
“I believe that Arsenal has the potential to do it,” Wenger said.
“But of course once you go to the semi-final, PSG is a very good team as well. Everybody is excited about it and let’s see and hope.
“The teams that go through to the semi-final have some qualities. Then it’s down to the form of the day, the main players who can show their efficiency on the day as well. A little bit as well that you have no sending-off or stupid reaction at some point.
“Overall I believe Arsenal is very solid defensively and over two legs that has a big influence.”
How Arsenal will create special atmosphere tonight
Arsenal have put plans in place to create the “special” atmosphere that Arteta is looking for in north London.
There will be two tifos on display, including a huge cannon design that will be suspended from the roof of the North Bank stand - which has never been done before. There will also be a huge crowd surfer banner in the East Stand, with the words “make it happen” on it.
Red smoke and fireworks will also be used pre-match, as was the case when Arsenal hosted Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
Fans have, once again, been encouraged to get to the ground early and Arsenal have organised a “buy one and get one on us” offer on drinks for the first hour that the stadium is open.
Enrique tells Arsenal: PSG are far better now
PSG will be a tougher proposition for Arsenal tonight than back in October, when the Gunners ran out comfortable 2-0 winners in a group game at the Emirates.
PSG have since won their fourth straight Ligue 1 title, however, and reached the French Cup final as well as eliminating Premier League champions Liverpool and Aston Villa en route to the Champions League's final four.
Asked about PSG's defeat by Arsenal in October, Luis Enrique told reporters on Monday; "That was seven or eight months ago. I saw the match again. We're a much better team today.
"We had a very intense group phase, with a lot of games that could have been finals. So I think that made things difficult because we were in a difficult position, but it has made us much stronger and we are more complete.
"These are Champions League semi-finals, but they're still two games between two teams with the same goal. The key will be managing the pressure."

Still over two hours until kick-off for what is surely the biggest night in the history of this stadium.

Arteta to Arsenal fans: 'Bring your boots'
Mikel Arteta is hoping for a raucous atmosphere at the Emirates tonight after the one that was created when Arsenal hosted Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
The Arsenal manager hailed that as one of the best nights since the Emirates was opened in 2006, but he wants to better that against PSG.
“I told [the Arsenal fans] and I’m not exaggerating, when I said: ‘Guys, bring your boots, bring your shorts, bring your t-shirts, and let’s play every ball together’.
“We want to do something special. That place has to be something special, something that we haven’t seen.
“And I really hope that everybody that comes tomorrow to the Emirates and is watching and following us, it brings that energy with them.”

As good as PSG have been since the turn of the year, Arsenal are the one side that have had their number this season and the 2-0 win is looking more impressive as the weeks pass by.
The French side very nearly crumbled inside a hostile atmosphere at Villa Park and if the Gunners can recreate the noise and energy on display inside the Emirates against Real Madrid, they will have every chance of taking a first-leg lead to the Parc des Princes and then holding on in Paris.
Arsenal to win, 2-1.
Predicted XIs
Arsenal XI: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly; Odegaard, Rice, Merino; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli
Paris Saint-Germain XI: Donnarumma; Mendes, Pacho, Marquinhos, Hakimi; Ruiz, Vitinha, Neves; Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia
Early PSG team news
Desire Doue is battling with Bradley Barcola to start tonight as Luis Enrique juggles a fully fit squad at the Emirates.
PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz avoided a yellow card in their nervy second-leg win at Villa Park in the quarter-finals, which means he will be available for selection.
Early Arsenal team news
Arsenal will tonight be boosted by the return of Mikel Merino, but Thomas Partey is suspended.
Merino missed the draw with Crystal Palace last week but was able to train with his team-mates on Monday and is in contention to feature tonight, where he is likely to move into a midfield role to accomodate Partey's absence. Jorginho is also out, having picked up an injury earlier this month.
Declan Rice could be tasked with playing at the base of midfield, instead of his usual No8 role, with Merino alongside captain Martin Odegaard and Leandro Trossard leading the line.
Trossard has been in fine form for Arsenal this month and has already scored four goals.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are expected to flank him on either wing, with the latter a second-half substitute in last week’s draw with Palace.
At the back, Arteta is expected to stick with the defence that kept Real Madrid quiet in the last round. That would mean another start for Jakub Kiwior alongside William Saliba in the heart of defence.
